Founded by Jason and Dee Dee Norman, Normandee Productions is an entertainment production company driven by passion, creativity, and a shared love of dynamic storytelling. The company is dedicated to producing bold, character-driven films that blend heart, comedy, and cinematic depth. We have built a team of world-class directors, cinematographers, editors, sound designers, and post-production specialists dedicated to turning extraordinary ideas into unforgettable images.

Our Story

​

Jason Norman grew up in Burbank, California, where his love for filmmaking took hold at an early age. Alongside his best friend Tony Oliverio, he made his first movie, C.O.P.S. (Cocaine Operating Police Section), while still in junior high. During his senior year, Jason met Dee Dee in a drama class, and the two quickly became high school sweethearts.

After graduation, their paths diverged—Tony moved to Michigan, Dee Dee pursued an acting career in L.A. and New York, studying with instructors from Julliard and NYU, and Jason attended Kim Kahana’s Stunt School, later working on several independent films, including The Game, which he wrote, directed, and starred in.

 

More than three decades and six children later, fate and Facebook brought Jason and Dee Dee back together, and they married in 2018. Combining their creative strengths, they launched Normandee Productions.

Dee Dee, an award-winning writer, has penned several screenplays, including Grace Through the Veils of Essex, The Last Secretary, The Out, Dare Me, and a streaming series, Into the Fade. Together, Jason and Dee Dee co-wrote their latest project High Strangeness, reuniting with longtime friend Tony Oliverio, (Prairie Dogs).

 

Filming for High Strangeness is scheduled to begins late August 2026.
